Per gestire i redirect tramite Google Search Console (la vecchia versione era chiamata Google Webmaster Tools), seguire i passaggi seguenti:
- Accedere a Google Search Console (https://search.google.com/search-console) con il proprio account Google.
- Selezionare il sito web che si desidera gestire (se non è ancora stato aggiunto, seguire le istruzioni per aggiungerlo).
- Selezionare “Copertura” dal menu a sinistra.
- Trovare l’URL della vecchia pagina che si desidera reindirizzare e cliccare su di essa.
- Selezionare “Imposta reindirizzamento” dal menu a discesa.
- Inserire l’URL della nuova pagina nella sezione “Destinazione”.
- Selezionare il tipo di redirect (301, 302, 303, 307).
- Salvare il redirect cliccando su “Salva”.
In alternativa, è possibile gestire i redirect tramite il file .htaccess o utilizzando un plugin di redirect per il CMS utilizzato (ad esempio, un plugin di redirect per WordPress).
È importante notare che i redirect sono importanti per mantenere l’integrità del tuo sito web e preservare la tua posizione nei risultati di ricerca. Assicurati di monitorare regolarmente i tuoi redirect per assicurarti che funzionino correttamente e non ci siano errori 404 sul tuo sito.
